Yeah, well only that this a) never happened, and b) is just clickbait sensationalism by ESPN. "If it continues like this, we have to think of something else." never refers to VAR in general, but to the VAR offside-line (if you've actually read that interview) and they did that. VAR continues and again I see it's used on almost all pitches. The only thing that they ax is the VAR offside line. However, those were not originally planned anyway, it was a spontaneous implementation.

So basically its absence has/had no noticable impact anyway. As for decisions taken: Yesterday for example Papadopolous dive, just now Lewandowskis goal and penalty given to Terrode. And again only 30s delay at most, or sometimes no delay at all because it's reviewed during celebrations. It undeiably is doing its job, not sure what your problem is here.

because he is like half a meter behind the ball. VAR naturally checks goals during the celebrations.

Great game by Hoffenheim today, beating Bayern 2:0. Julian Nagelsmann. Defensively so sound and tactically wonderful.
BVB on the other hand had a crappy and confusing game, couldn't even beat a 10-men Freiburg.

I know it's early in the season, but thank you Hoffenheim. I figured us dropping points at Freiburg would begin the typical "let's chase Bayern" for the rest of the season routine, but it does not look like that spiel has started yet.

Bayern playing like shit in the first half and still managed to get two goals, thanks to the the shit referee (Buli referees are equally shit) who gifted Lewandowski the Diver a penalty and a big deflection thanks to a Wolfsburg defender. Shit.
