Ribery the difference maker for Bayern today. They were much more dangerous after his insertion.

And of course Wolfsburg lose and drop all three. Wouldn't want to keep even a little pressure on Bayern. I missed the actual penalty in that match. Was it clear cut?

It was clear cut, the defender kicked lewandowski in his face whilst he was trying to score a diving header

Unfortunately I missed this Bayern game. Was it that boring after all ?

Pretty boring until Ribery was subbed on. They basically relied on Robben cutting through the right or Ribery cutting through the left, which did not work, so they resorted to what they do best, cross from the left. Expect a lot of crosses into the penalty box from the right once Lahm is back. Overall still quite boring. Didn't see much of Robben , Goetze (who was subbed off around the 60th minute) and Lewandowski (subbed on early in the second half). Bernat and Badstuber were quite good, I thought.

Gladbach continue their scorching hot, by their standards, scoring run, tallying two so far, and leading 2-0. Going to be moving up closer to 2nd!

Or not. :(

Mainz even it up very quickly.

been to the stadium vs Bayern. Thought it was a good match, we might have even deserved a draw if we would have continued our performance from the first half. But I dont think the freekick and the pen should have been given, especially after seeing the pictures and hearing Merk's refereeing commentary on it. Still satisfied by the way we played Bayern.

tbh besides the Bayern fans many People say that isn´t a Penalty.

no of course it isnt. 20-30cm above the ground is no place for someones head, especially not if you literally throw yourself into someones foot. Marcelo shouldnt be punished for his challenge, any defender would be compeltely retarded for not trying to get the ball there, hes not to blame for the collision.

Thanks. I thought they would continue the form they've showed vs Koln...
