With rumours linking us with Mascherano & The Yaya's exit, there has been a lot of discussion about our DM position of late...I like to know the consensus on the board.
All bias aside & from what you 've watched of Yaya, Busquets & Mascherano. Who do you think fits us perfectly & deserves to be our #1 choice DM?

real madrid didn't think they needed a defensive midfielder. they didn't value maka.

we know we need a defensive midfielder and have a canterano coming through who excels in the position and doesn't have a cunt for an agent (we're also interested in a replacement who is better at the actual DM aspect of the job than yaya is, thoroughly negating the makelele comparison).

nevertheless, we value yaya, but his agent is being a dick. his agent was also a dick last season. and it seems he will continue to be a dick for the foreseeable future. I would wager this is a factor in our "mistreatment" of poor yaya.

last season it was eto'o, this season it seems yaya is the darling of the masses.

I think it's safe to say mes que un club implies mes que un jugador.

If Yaya left tomorrow we would have no quality DM - FACT. You may argue against his DM qualities Meta but he's easily among the top 10 in that position in the world, and I don't mean 10th.

Yaya is the best in that position for us, he really helps out the defence a lot and when he goes to attack the other team he shows some of his fancy foot work. I wouldn't want Barca to buy Mascherano and replace Yaya for him, because imo Yaya is in the top 5 in that position for DM. If Yaya would leave Barca in the summer which a lot of rumors are saying he isn't happy at Barca, I would want Barca to buy De Rossi and not Mascherano.

I'm not knocking Biscuits, but he's still learning and improving his trade. I wouldn't be comfortable playing the rest of our CL ties with him protecting the defence.
