Interesting, so how about Ajax Beast? Do u consider them among the elites? If yes(surely?), how do you explain their current situation and will they be back?

Of course Ace, same for B Munich ..
their current situation depend on their league financial condition in terms of competing in Europe..
As a big club in Holland with long traditions OF COURSE they are one .

they will always be back even without winning the dutch league Ajax will always produce great players

Ajax was the one who bring total football to the world, it will be nuts if people think ajax is not among "the big"

Look to make a psychological test since you are not a follower of Ajax .. if i mention the word Ajax and tell u to say 10 things about them off the top of your head football wise you will mention some stuff that happened in Different generation
u would probably say Cruyff,Rinus Micheles, Van Basten , De Boer brothers ..etc
u covered different generations

now if i mention depor or Leeds most of the time u won't even remember 5-6 things about them needless to mention u won't be able remember anything about Depor before the late 90's and just the current good players like Guardado or Valeron
it's usually tied down to one generation or 2 ..

if a club like Real got relegated the liga will miss 1/2 of it's thrill ..same if Man United get relegated
but would the level of the liga go down if Depor or Atletico head back to second division (and they did ) ? did anyone miss Betis already ? noting Betico were 4th in the liga few years ago and gave Chelsea a good beating ..

clubs like leeds , N Forest , Citeh can and did go down and u didn't miss them .. it would be different if it's liverpool, united or Arsenal

Just got back from the cinema, saw the Milan score. Now I'm pretty smug. Inter 4-A.C-0. What does that tell you? They are awful, they needed a revamp, there was none-they will fail, miserably.

if madrid do not beat them, then there is some serious problems going on in madrid

I still think the majority of people wil disagree with me though, though tbh I cant see how now. I feel I've been proved right, that was a shocking performance from Milan, and all the signs were there from the beginning. They are NOT good enough. They are an ageing side, with little young talent, who are nowhere NEAR their best or the best of those in Serie A, I dont see any reason to believe they will suceed in the CL or Serie A, their crap to be blunt about it.

lol, boldly put and correct. the club wasted this offseason which should have been used to rebuild the team and now have to wait till next off season to start. the question is if the will start again as they have had 2 or 3 years to begin rebuilding and have done nothing in those years except aquire pato. sad times to be a milan fan the last couple of years

Exactly, they've had two years to rebuild after it was clearly shown by Arsenal that they needed a change, and they have not done that. Instead they've kept the same ageing stars, who have only got older and poorer, signed Ronaldinho, and now its come to this. A thrashing at the hands of a brilliant Inter Milan side, who Imo could go very far in the CL this year. Theres no Kaka to carry the ageing players anymore, they need a change and they need it fast.

Lol, thats Serie A, Milan = fail in Serie A, the CL is differnet. Nobody is saying they will win anything, but they will very likely be in the latter stages.

I think they'll make it past the group stage, but they will go out in the first knockout round

Yeah I don't see them getting past the qtr finals. I do see Juve making it to the semi's though if their team gels.

Inter are my pick to win this year, they have been from the moment they signed Sneijder. All they needed was a playmaker and now they have one. If injuries dont take hold, this is a major chance for them, its the best squad they've had for a while. Unless Milan come up against Porto in the knockout stages I think they will go out to anyone else (assuming that all of the best teams from their groups go through). I woudlnt be shocked though if they didnt go through the group stage, Marseille are a good team, you never know.

Atletico would probably make it through the group over Porto.

Lol, we'll be in for some entertainment then at least, Good ole Atletico with their invisible defence and amazing attack, they'll get squashed physically by Chelsea though. They lost to Porto in the knockout stages last time, so thats going to be interesting. My prediction-Real Madrid or Chelsea vs Inter in the final........ boooooooooo
