man munich are dangerous if they are healthy with robben and ribery on both wings

other than that we will probebly beat them and everybody as long as we get first in the group

they were without Robbery today and they dismantled Juve

Van Gaals philosophy seems to be finally found its way into the players heads. It prolly also helped to stop the mass rotating within the squad that apparently frustrated and unsettled some players. Gomez seems much more confident now that esp. Toni is sorted out.

Thats how they won their latest two BL matches and thats how they totally dominated Juve yesterday. Very strong ball control and a very alert defense didnt let Juve get into the game at all. Scoring is then just a matter of time, although Ribery and Robben obv help a lot to create more opportunities. Olic however had once more a very strong game on the left flank, so its debatable how muhc of an improvement Ribery would be there.

I was hoping Marseille would win and Milan not win.
Zurich made it.
Mairseille didn't.
The first goal came frome nowhere, no goal chances in the match, then the freekick, and goal... That was the worst possible start for l'OM :D
Then the first half was good.
But the second half... Penalty miss (btw, why didn't the keeper get a red card ? In the first leg, Diawara get a red cart + penalty for less than that), and then the match was finish, Marseille stoped playing.

Diawara didn't get a straight red, he was booked before and it was his second yellow that resulted the red card.
the reason Iker didn't get a red is the fact that Niang wasn't in a one on one situation and was on the side . mind you a stupid charge and deserved the yellow and the penalty.

I don't remember if UEFA clear the yellows after the group stage or not cause that would be a problem if Iker received a yellow in the KO round it will mean Dudek plays and god help us if that happen

I'm pretty sure they do clear the yellows after the group stage, but if a player picks up the third booking in match 6 they still miss the 1st leg of the 2nd round.

olic apparently ran like a mofo out there and everyone was hustling as if the game was the final.

the stats show how amazing bayern was against juve.

I enjoyed that Juve result, I assure you. But I think alot of you still have the image of Juve as a powerhouse of European football, which they aren't anymore, or atleast yet. They were in Serie B 3 years ago, ok not a normal Serie B winning side, but they still came along way quickly to get back into the CL. To expect them to be able to progress through it isn't really a very realistic expectation yet I would say.

Qualified

1st - Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bordeaux, Man Utd, Arsenal,
-possibly Seville (almost guaranteed ) they play Rangers

-2nd - Porto, Milan, CSKA, Bayern

Europa league : Liverpool,Atletico Madrid,Marseille,Wolfsburg,Juve

Stuttgart play Unirea Urziceni @ home with a new coach , they've been awful this season and the Romanians could fancy a draw

Barca group is blown wide open any 2 teams can progress .
Liverpool host Fiorentina who hope to keep the first spot to avoid a tough draw while Lyon have a very easy encounter vs Debrecen in Stade Gerland a guaranteed 3 points to take them on top of Fiorentina in case the Italians fail against Pool
Olympiakos host Arsenal and Wenger can afford to rest his squad while Liege hope for their neighbors AZ to lay low.. i think this the only group where no one watched a single game except the 4 teams fans

No thank you Real for helping us progress?

I don't agree with you about a great stitch up Beast. Milan are through on their own merit, they were able to take points from Madrid that the other group teams couldn't, thats why we qualified and they didn't.

If we didn't beat L'OM you would be joining Liverpool in Europa league Pippo .. as simple as that

bayern are, above all, a van gaal team.

ergo, they can't defend.

if caceres hadn't committed and utterly utterly retarded tackle to give away that penalty, juve would have won the game.

any team that can keep the ball in any sort of fashion will muller bayern.
