It was just last year the Bundesliga had one solo team! & Italy had 3 IIRC don't jump the gun, when was the last time a Bundesliga won the CL title? Bayern choked in there own stadium.

So the europa league is a poor competition when the germans do well but when the italians and spanish do well in the europa it becomes a very good competition

I've never said that. teams don't care about the Europa league, especially in the groups.
Perhaps they don't deserve the four spots, but it's not Serie A's fault Udinese sells half there team before the new season otherwise i'm sure they'd be qualifying no problems. Infact if you added the players they've sold the past two seasons they would be one hell of a side right now. AC Milan obviously have there problems & are a bit Jekyll & hyde but not to be underestimated, are able to play very well.

Shakhtar/Juventus make it through and deservedly so.
Juventus had the better of Shakhtar at the Donbass & won there! which doesn't happen very often. There defensive shape was outstanding, Bonucci, Bazaglari, & in particular Chilleini were very solid, they'll be a match for anybody as will Shakhtar.
