Bayern were shite. Robben and Ribery were both abysmal.

Bayern are actually pretty clueless in possession. Schweinstieger and Lahm are both quite average as playmakers so they are probably going to miss Thiago unless Kroos steps up.
They actually created very little. I remember Robben playing a nice through-ball on one occasion but that was pretty much it. Most of their chances were created by just overlapping and overloading the wide areas and then crossing.

United the better team. They definitely should have won. Carrick played like he did last season and showed all the class he's got. The most intelligent player on the pitch.
Ferdinand and Vidic bossed it. They've still got it.
