Real Madrid winning 15 CL titles is crazy dawg.

It basically rules out the probability of any team even coming close to reaching them in our lifetimes.

Stunning.

It's a bad look even if we ignore the prehistoric 5-6 titles won in black and white TV era.

I meam they have 9-10 in CL format while others are on what... 3-5?

Well when we won in 2015 it was 5 vs 10. Not to mention AC Milan had 7.

Now Real Madrid will have 15. More than double anyone else and triple ours.

Surprised you rate SAF this low, and its not just his time at United either, what he did with Aberdeen was really impressive.
He has insane domestic achievements and above average (when talking about GOATs) European success, but the main - point is that his teams didn't have an era defining style of play and were never all conquering. Like he barely won the treble in 99 and even the 08 CL was thanks to Terry slip

That's what I'm saying. They are the best club even in modern era by a distance, it's not about the 50s anymore as the difference in favor of Madrid when the competition was far less than what it is today.

If you count CL era only, we're second at 4. Bayern, Milan at 3.

If you count 80s onwards (modern era of football), it's 5 Barca, 5 Milan, 4 Pool, 3 Bayern, 2 United, 2 Juve, 1 Inter

Basically, through whatever means (mentality, ref favors, history etc.), these bozos own this competition

Yeah, they really do. A lot of it is due to Florentino's management though. Man is a total legend and a badass. No one compares to him.

Yep. The level of Florentino's business acumen -

Signed CR7 for 100 M, got 450 goals from him, sold him for 100 M. 450 goals and a top 5 player all time for 0 euros

We're lucky AF the academy churned out Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Busquets etc. on the free, because if it were up to the presidents of Barca, this club would be Inter or Juve level in Europe, or worse

You can say that, but he also had the Glazers dragging the club down, and they neglected the club for so long, than in his latest couple of years, he had to start with "players" like Cleverley, 40 year old Giggs etc in midfield, and they still win important matches and trophies, something of a genius that man, and we saw how that club collapsed the moment he left.

Also, look up his time at Aberdeen, its really impressive.

You can’t compare the cr7 situation

He was sold because he wanted a pride equal to Messi and Perez didn’t want to do that

We could have gotten more money from Messi if we sold him but that wouldn’t have stood for the fans

Well that's the difference between clubs - ruthlessness plays a role in success.

We treat our legends, especially homegrown legends, way better. But that also means more complacency and rot. Pros and cons. I personally still prefer Barca and the crazy heights we reached (obviously) despite RM being clearly the top club in European history.

True. The homegrown legends, style of play at our best, and biggest stadium in Europe are about the only 3 things we have over Madrid.

That's plenty to be proud of though.

RM will never send off their biggest legends this way.

Nah, Madrid's is the better model. We are constantly played for fools.

We also kicked Messi out like he was a stray dog.

Yeah sure FFP, Tebas, whatever, but the club kept delaying and then dropped the nuke on him in one day instead of communicating properly or honestly.
