For example, we had luck vs Liverpool on Camp Nou and could have won 4-0 a match that looked like a 3-3 at best on chances created and domination. What did we do? Fucked it up in the return leg, chickened out, and Origi and Wijnaldum swept the floor with our softies.

You are a man of stats and figures.

When something keeps happening, over and over again, it is not luck, it's a constant. It is in their DNA to get lucky and rob teams in the CL.

xWhatever just cannot capture how clutch they are.

Stunning.

Absolutely unreal. Once again, Madrid show their mantle and character. It's so hard to believe that this ephemeral trait plays SUCH a big part in the highest level of sport on the planet. It's baffling to me how Madrid does this over and over again. We would have lost this 8-1 easily. EASILY.

Madrid got absolutely trounced, and here I am, almost sure that they will now go through to the finals. Benzema and their luck, it's just too much.

Say it as it is.

Should have won 4-0 if a certain player didn't whiff a sitter like some sunday league scrub.

CL is a competition of fine margins and luck, but to get at the end of that you need a never give up attitude. This is why teams like Madrid and Liverpool are so successful in this competition.

After that Silva goal where they could feel a bit hard done by they just kept playing and kept pushing. 'What's done is done'.

No point complaining and keeping it on your mind, they drove forward and try to find another goal when they could have sulked like we have done in recent games and shut down after harsh refereeing.

Been calling out Militao and Camavinga for not being that good. Latter is still young, but looks nervous for now. Militao exposed.

Of course. They sulk and don't go after the 3rd goal and Laporte doesn't have the chance to show us how much of an idiot he can be.

But then, we would've lost 5-0 at Anfield or worse.

We are lacking mentality and fold like lawn chairs. Like we did against Bayern next season as soon as we took the lead.
