PSG goes into Anfield with a new manager and without a midfield and was three minutes from the draw they played for. Lyon walked into Man City's home and bossed them on their own pitch. Farmers league my ass.

PSG were atrocious and lucky not to concede 5-6 goals. Lyon, on the other hand, were awesome today.
Says a lot that PSG played poorly and still scored 2 goals on the road against the best English side. Even had a chance to go up 3-2 in the 87th minute but were unlucky. Too bad it isn't the final 16 or PSG would be favored to advance. Horrible!

Don't talk about PSG losing 2-3 at Anfield. Talk about Lyon bossing City on their own pitch. Talk about N'Dombele and Fekir looking like the best players of either team.
Ligue 1 has 1 win in 3. That's not something to really brag about. Most other top leagues do better than 1-0-2.
Anything to avoid talking about a struggling Lyon side bossing Man City, a club that walked the EPL last season, on their own pitch. And don't get me started on their pathetic supporters.
It's one game. Monaco finished 4th in a group won by Besiktas last season.
It's 18/19 now, not 17/18.
Back to the topic. Lets talk about why and how Lyon outplayed Man City? No fluke of a win. Simply out muscled, out played, and out sung at their home stadium.
Just before the Liverpool game PSG smashed whoever their domestic opponents were 4-0, and even rested Mbappe and Neymar. They can't go from awesome to atrocious in the space of a few days. They looked bad because Liverpool made them look bad. Against most other opponents PSG would have looked great. They couldn't handle the pressing, pressure and relentless attacking by Liverpool, that's why they were made to look poor.PSG were atrocious and lucky not to concede 5-6 goals. Lyon, on the other hand, were awesome today.
City have been kicked out of the FA Cup by a 3rd dividion side, 0-1 to Wigan. It can happen. Lyon are not a bad team.
