rabiot had a couple of shots and several forward passes. ronaldo gave an assist. demiral yeah not great.

there is absolutely NO value in that negative approach unless you are 1) defending a lead (which juve were NOT doing--they needed to SCORE) or 2) atleti madrid hoping for a dreadful 1-0 win. in both cases the negative approach fails here because Juve needed to score.

if you are down on aggregate and need to score goals then arthur is the last player you want. he will not do ANYTHING to make it happen for your team. this is why barca traded him for an older player: because he is USELESS. that pjanic hasnt been great either doesnt change the fact that the coaching staff here realized how useless arthur is.

They actually traded him because they needed to BALANCE the BOOKS
