Tell us about the time mid table english team who seem to play Europa all the time did well in the league.

Leicster getting relegated to conference league, west ham getting their ass whooped by a spanish team just like wolves, united humilited in the finals by villareal, Arsenal cucked by emery.

They are just over hyped. Thats why I call it a good entertainment league, but no real skills on show.

if La liga is UFC, EPL is WWe

Leicester playing rotated sides... West Ham are not a top four team in EPL.. Sevilla are in Spain.

The better EPL teams are rarely in Europa and dont have it as a priority.

Tell me last time La Liga teams were better in the trophy that matters.

You put a lot on last season when United scudded two La Liga teams then drew with Villareal in final. Pens then a lottery could go either way. Then beat them home and away this season.

Atleti v Man Utd was 50/50 and two poor sides really.

I am sure EPL has nothing to be jealous of in La Liga... other way round... trying to set up a ESL to stop the EPL growing even more.

Lol united were outplayed by villareal this season. Yeah they got the result but it was clear to see who played the superior football. Then they got spanked by atletico just for good measure.

Nah they werent outplayed.

More delusion and part of 'good football' is scoring the chances create of which it was very even.

No one got 'spanked'.. Atletico v Man U was a bum fight of two poor sides currently.

Matter of the fact is that Villareal level teams from PL never get anything in Europe, especially not against top dogs, while LL teams do it routinely. For a long time, while Barca/Real ruled the top, PL fans said that their league is better overall, lesser margin between top to bottom. That argument has also failed since then. Westham isn't knocking out champions of other top leagues any time soon.

United no top dog?

Liverpool and City are two of the best at the moment. No shame losing against those two.

True, back when Barca and Real were good LaLiga was much more competitive as well. I don't think people realize how good those Madrid/Barca teams were.

The three years since Ronaldo left EPL has been far ahead in Europe.

Three all EPL European finals out of six. Chelsea has won Europa. Chelsea has won CL. Liverpool have won CL. United got to European Final. Arsenal got to European Final. City got to European Final. Spurs got to European Final

Six EPL teams got to final across both of the competitions. With two winners of the biggest one and four finalist.

In that time no La Liga teams in CL final and three previous years no more than one La Liga team in QF.

The best La Liga have in that time is two Europa Leagues.

Folk try to make out those two Europa Leagues are sign of anything.

Can change quickly I prefer when La Liga do well.. which is why wanted Real to beat PSG but last three years has been dominated by EPL.

Jammy is right but nice to see that la liga isnt as bad as we thought, real and villareal did a good job and if barca gets to EL final we can at least say we're clearly above Serie a / ligue1 / Bundesliga
