If I were Flick I'd lose it. With 10 men you're likely going to need s get out of jail synical yellow to stop attacks. How brainless do you have to be to get yourself yellow carded for verbals , BOTH of them.


The stupidity of this backline in this half has been beyond astounding.

Would be an absolute no brainer in this situation to hook off Lewandowsky for.. anybody else. I'd prefer Cassado, which would give us parity in the midfield as our players are much superior technically and would control the flow easily, while drawback being lack of point man. Not really a drawback in case of Lewa though as now because of him we're effectively 2 man down. He cannot effectively participate in the counters and run in to the space and he will absolutely not get any tap in chances from our usual dominance whatsoever. He cannot press and cannot shield the ball with back to the goal.

Absolute disaster that his status and paycheck hinders this team so much. With same amount of defenders and mids Barca is still superior team, even if one attacking outlet less and would create plenty chances, while retaining control. As it is, will be a nailbiter and great success if draw or 0:1/0:2.
