Ok, this came pretty late considering the game starts in 2.5 hours from now, BUT

this is a great tactical preview of how Bayern play, and how Barca can hypothetically cope with that

Not a surprise that the analyst is stating that for Barca to have any chance only Araujo and Mingueza as CBs can deal with Bayern attackers!
Well...

We should be cautious but we shouldn't let them peg us back too deep and for too long either. We're not built like a Athletico or Juve to sustain waves of attacks.

FC Barcelona have never lost their first home match in a Champions League season.

Beyond hyped.

Bayern gonna get touched.

I think it will be a close enough game for most of it anyway. Maybe even a draw or a knicked win. Bayern are not as good as when the 8 2 happened and this is also a group game with less pressure

With that lineup it looks like we will play defensive football. Not a bad strategy imo.

Has it ever worked out though when Barca tried to play defensive football?

If Koeman doesn't want to play completely unproven players on that level he is more or less forced to play 3-5-2 as there aren't much options available, which is a pity as Bayern's backline is not that solid and should be pressured, but we don't have pacey forwards available. Hopefully Memphis can exploit the room between their lines as he is very good to make these runs and Frenkie is used to find him there. Hope.
