Clément Lenglet (loaned to Atletico)

They are just so shite & in umtimi's case so done re Injuries, very few will take them off our hands.

We can't do a little fire sale like we did with saurez, rakitic, Vidal, those players had a good reputation so even though on high wages their was some interest.

These players bartomeu is playing like that are top 5 is closer to bottom 5.

But they have a contract, they getting that money if they play or not.

Obviously they get paid but they want to play as well and getting ruthless is about last card left to try and force them to leave.

These players want to play and have arrogance they can still win place back if that is open.

There is very little lost through likes of Lenglet not playing particualry with Christensen at club. Same with Braithwaite and his shite. Call his bluff as if he refuses to go now then him not being in squad makes next to no difference.

Unlike Umtiti who is totally finished I think Lenglet still wants to play and will accept to leave. Would probably prefer a move to EPL where is more money but OTOH don't think any of top 4/6 clubs there would have any interest in him so I could also see him accepting playing a regular CL football in Porto. Will probably be only loan though which is not that bad really as long as they cover his full wages. Freeing cap space is our main goal right now and if he has a good season in Portugal he can increase his value and we can sell him next year.

Yea lenglet is the one I see as most likely go leave, good age, decent talent, still thinks he can play at a high level.

Showed his limitations but compared to umtiti, Braithwaite he will be like selling gold, much easier.

Marseille are dreaming of signing Lenglet. The French club want to sign him on loan with a non-mandatory purchase option. — @sport

They'll go from dreams to nightmares pretty quickly if they'll sign him.

I think he would do good in a new environment. A EL or CL places aspiring team would be his level. Sevilla, Marseille, Roma etc

Maybe he'll find his level in Ligue 1 against Clermont and Reims...

Those Liverpool and Bayern games completely destroyed him on a psychological aspect. He has limitations and was at best a 3rd Choice CB in the long run but those games just completely ruined him long-term especially here. When you watch him at Sevilla and his first season under Valverde, he had flaws and made errors but not to the extent he does now.

He needs to go to a team where he can hit a reset switch and get something good going again.

Tottenham are pushing hard for the signing of Cl?ment Lenglet, who is increasingly more open to join them. There will be a key meeting between the parties later this week. [

Lets see if Conte can shake this guy down and get him back on the right path.

Not sure if loaning him to EPL without an obligation to buy is the way to go. Even if a change of scenery will do him good and number of his mental mistakes will decrease there are still big chances he'll get exposed for his lack of pace so no EPL club will ever want him again in a year or two. Would be better to loan him to Juve/Roma and do well there so his value would increase and then sell him.

Loan? Why can't we sell anyone these days. Lenglet is a bit of a bum for sure but still he's not that terrible and only 27.
