Clément Lenglet (loaned to Atletico)

Wonder how it feels to be Lenglet right now.

Probably was eager to play with the likes of Pique and learn from him. Only to realize that Pique is no longer Pique, and he plays like an old man that needs assistance in a retirement home. Unless Pique shapes up and with Umtiti being out for a good amount of time, He's going to have to consistently cover Pique like he did with Kjær at Sevilla.

Still pretty great I imagine. :barcascarf:

The season is still young and people are acting like it's a complete disaster. Let's get a grip

The worst part is the thought that he has to cover for Pique and be better than him, only to end up as his back-up under a clown of a manager where name and seniority matter more than actual performances on the field.

Actually possible

That wasn't hyperbole, lol. Masche would have remained a starter, gotten a renewal, and our starting duo would have been an over the hill Mascherano and a severely under performing Pique, with Umtiti and Vermaelen (No need to even bother signing Lenglet lol) on the bench.

Pretty close to 100%.

That goal was tough to blame on him. The backpass to him put him in a very pressurized situation. He handled Kane extremely well the entire game.

I liked his confidence aswell, sent off in his debut and thrown in as Umtiti's replacement in a big CL game, looked natural
