The kid's impressive, no surprise Pep is giving him time on the pitch. Goal and assist both excellent in today's FA Cup game. Powerful precise left foot. Has now scored in Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League.

Cole Palmer for a tall player has very good skills on the ball. His display against Swindon was a highlight on the night , scoring the best goal. Hopefully he keeps his head firmly screwed on his shoulders, listens to management and the senior pros around him.

In last nights game, one of the spectators was ex Swindon player Don Rogers, 76. Unknown probably on the international scene, but an excellent left winger who was outstanding for Swindon in his day.

COLD PALMER. 🥶

So cold. So clutch. So direct. So decisive.

Most Goal Contributions in the PL this season. Arguably been the best player in the league this season. He'll be better than Foden and the overrated Saka. Wait and watch.

BALLER. Pep's biggest mistake.

Baller, indeed!

But he has to learn a lot still. So many times he is selfish and doesn't pass to his teammates close or around the box that would put them 1v1 with the keeper.
I am sure he will learn and will be exquisite player in 3-4 years

Pep is justified on the grounds that he had Mahrez, Bernardo, and Foden for the same position.

He'd sold Mahrez by time they allowed Palmer to leave. Nunes and Kovacic were supposed to replace Palmer and Gundogan. Quite a significant downgrade tbh.

I think Palmer should maybe start vs Slovakia. Him and Mainoo and Gordon showed enough. Palmer can play in a number 10 role or on the right wing. He offers something different with his dribbling in tight spaces and wand of a left foot.

It would mean dropping one of Saka or Bellingham but they likely deserve it. I hear Foden is back in England for the birth of his child too, so he might miss the game.
