And yet, they still conceded a goal.

Bad match, and got the luck they needed in penalties, not impressive at all.

Could have gone to bed 40 mins earlier, if they did what they were supposed to, worst part of it.
Sounding bitter?

While El Gato is praising Bilbao

Interesting…

El Gato

Villarato!
Not really praising them
They were boring AF, very toothless as per standard with them really
Setup kind of works for them as a side though and it's nice to have EV be the one manager that brought them multiple domestic trophies while people would slag him off as if he's an illogical or otherwise untalented manager
Dude took the original OG Asspanyol (with Tamudo, Pandiani, De La Pena) to a European final and almost won against the OG Seville (with Kanoute, Renato etc)

Do I see wrong or Birdy likes pro Mister posts these days?

Fair with everyone.
He does a wonderful job at Bilbao
Didn't do well at Barca oc, not that he is a bad coach, but he is a coward and was the catalyst for the Amigo culture to prevail

Laporta said it wasn’t valverde’s fault as it’s up to the board to sign replacement for older players and start to phase them out

Some surprises in first round of Copa, four Segunda teams eliminated.

Eibar lost against Logrones (Primera RFEF) after ET and then there were three Catalan teams (all playing in Segunda RFEF - 4th tier) who caused upsets against Segunda teams.

Sant Andreu beat Mirandes (currently 3rd in Segunda). Olot eliminated Cordoba after penalties while CE Europa won against Albacete, their first goal was scored by an American LB named John Neeskens.

Another surprise is UD Salamanca (Segunda RFEF) win vs Alcorcon who are now in the relegation zone in Primera RFEF but were playing in Segunda last year.
