As much as I hate them, Espanyol deserved it. Their 1st leg performance alone warranted semis.

A Catalan final would be awesome although FC Barcelona - Athletic is a classic too. The "problem" is that we have met them twice in a Copa del Rey final in recent years (2009 & 2012). It would thus be good if we could meet a new club in the final.

Anyway before talking about the final there is Villarreal to defeat. They will be a hard nut to crack. It's their first semifinal appearance in the Copa del Rey as well.

The first leg match will be played at the Camp Nou once again.

That would be the ideal scenario although Villarreal will give it all. They are not exactly our favorite opponents historically speaking. They are in a great form of late as well.
