It is fairly valuable but it depends on what willing to risk for it.

Barca have 3/4 positions they have no replacement for and some players already look knackered.

Heavy rotation for me with Sevilla the focus.

Copa is important trophy. Would say win against Madrid scum + Copa outweighs La Liga win propelled by penalties and refs on back of Las Palmases wins.

Wonder how seriously Valencia will take this.

Not the worst thing in world for them to be eliminated and focus on the league when they are fighting for survival and have a thin squad.

Key match for us. I personally see Copa del Rey as a valuable trophy, even if most don't agree.

Copa is a great trophy to win but i think most agree that

1. ll/cl

2. Copa

So if we want to rest out players then we need to do that in Copa matches and take the risk of being eliminated. Next matches in ll are against Sevilla (away), against Rayo (6th place), Las Palmas (away) and Sociedad - we cant rest there

Will surely be a tighter game than the 7-1.

Don't think there will be a lot of rotations. The top 8 CL sure comes in handy now as the schedule will be a lot more airy. Need to keep going another 2 games close to full force and then 8 days rest. CB/CM the only positions I think will be rotated and then if we lead, rest as much as possible in second half.

Madrid otoh just lost Rudiger and have Atletico, City x2 and Leganes+Osasuna away every 3 days. That period is crucial for Madrid. If they come out of that with a good grade they are well set for the rest of the season. At the same time they could lose out on all three trophies over the span of two weeks.
