You cant compare football to normal jobs.
But being friends/having a connection is never necesary when you have it on the pitch or whereever you need to perform but it does help and makes things more comfortable.

I think thos coupled with him getting older and declining really eats at him. I cant wait to watch the show when he is no longer one of the best in the world... He will not handle it well.
