if MSN shows up against Atleti, and then the semi finalist and then the finalist in UCL
and if Messi and his NT colleagues score their penalties
This talk of " CR getting the Ballon dor win or lose vs france"
wouldnt happen would it?
now how is that hard to understand? DonAK
Everyone I know who watches football believes Messi is better, that's the way it will always be. Messi's reputation is secure, there is nothing Ronaldo can do to be considered on his level. Messi is a much better player as simple as that, just like people argue between Beatles and Stones the answer is easy, Messi = Beatles he is the best of the best and his reputation will be enhanced as time goes on.
You seem to have a reading comprehension accusing me of something I never once implied, learn to read.
It's A since CR played in the Premiership for 6 years. Journalists here think nothing is better than the Premiership.Reading these ridiculous articles about Ken in Telegraph and Guardian makes me think these "journalists" are either:
a) Stupid, blind imbeciles (or have the hots for CR)
b) paid by a certain JM to push a certain player
best part was: "but the case for Ronaldo is that he has outlasted Messi, who has been in relative decline since 2013..." in this masterpiece.
If you are done with the lecture on statistics.... I would like to suggest you to check how many times the media imparts all the statistical analysis of a player to the general public. It only happens occasionally! If every individual, Ballon d'Or voter, looked into the entire statistical analysis, CR7 would never, ever enjoy the kind of popularity that he does! I don't know if you have heard "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."The discussions are ridiculous, as always in this thread. Somebody talks about statistics, forgetting that statistics includes all the games, all the touches, all the assists, all the movements, all the goals scored, the games won, the tournaments won. Only an idiot would count the ECs and WCs somebody has won over another player to make an argument about the ability and the skills of players. With that stupid logic, any player on Argentina's world cup winning team would be better than Messi, because, in fact, Messi never won a WC?! Did you know that by using statistical and econometric methods, you can actually prove that Messi is much much better than anybody on this planet? That luck plays a bigger role on the CL, EC and WC than in league competitions? So before talking about statistics, know what statistics can do and what statistics can't do.
