I'm watching the game via http://www.atdhe.net/ My Russian is not the best but the commentator has said Chygrynskiy and Barcelona in the same sentence maybe 40 times already. According to other sources he won't be playing today so we have another 2 weeks to make up our mind. Shaktar wants €25 mills' (are they crazy?, Maxwell and Arbeola costed under €5 mills' ?!) and I just don't think we're gonna' pay more than €15 maybe a little bit more (which I still think is way to much).

Because Caceres sucks (& he's leaving), Puyol & Marquez are ageing and that leaves... Piqué. We definitely need another CB, even if Henrique is staying.

So we don't end up using Toure as our CB again .

Also, we're going to play 65+ matches this year. Club World cup in UAE, CL, La Liga, Copa Del Rey, Spanish super cup and UEFA supercup. We can't afford to lose players to injuries in this season. This one for the history

He would be 4th or 5th choice at CB this year and also hamper the development of Muniesa and Botia(if he comes back). Not really seeing this as something we should address this transfer period, when we should be focusing on getting some depth in midfield.

This only means that the negotiations are still undergoing. It doesn't mean that we will be able to get him for sure because as you said ( 20+ mil is just too much ). Honestly, I'm one of those guys who believes that having too many good players in the same position is good for the team, but not good for the players. Pique, Marques, Pyoul and now Henrequi and Chygrynskiy potentially. All those are good players that deserve some play time. I don't want to see another Caseras who has a lot of potential but can't fit our team style.

It is true that we only needed him for the last bit of the season, but when you think about it. We were lucky not to have many injuries. I never seen Barca having this few injuries for a while. Regarding Munisa, I assure you that he'll not join the first team yeat ( am 99.99% sure). He is still young ( 17 years old player) and for his position, you need a lot of play time and experience which we can't provide at the first team. I say play him at B team and send him to the first team next season ( that's when either Pyoul or Marques might want to try another team before retirement)

Pathetic Shaktar drawing with Temisvar at home. That`s that then. Still, we didn`t really need a central back. Yes we had troubles for the CL final but only due to the unfortunate string of circumstances + Pep didn`t consider Caceres as a worthy backup.
We can make a better use of that 20 mil. for getting us a left winger or a central midfielder.

All roads lead to Mascherano. Liverpool needs money and they will sell either Xabi Alonso or Mascherano ( Rafa prefers Alonso on DMF ). So it's either us or Madrid who will get one of those two cuz Liver won't sell both.

CL-Qualifiers.. They started a while ago. Yesterday was the 3rd round, there's one playoff round left before the group phase. We're placed directly in the group phase because we won La Liga and we won the CL last year. (either of those would've been enough, 2nd place in La Liga means direct qualification as well)
