But In all seriousness he was trash, he made Mbappe who was also meh this round, look like prime Messi.

It's good we're broke otherwise Laporta would have snapped him up in a jiffy. I used to rate this guy but not anymore. Always missing in big games. We already have that issue and don't need another player who chokes.

tbf, he deserved to win FIFA the best in 2023 if we are being objective.
I think the Messi vote was in the same line of thinking as yours, the voters would prefer to give the award for the GOAT for his legacy, rather than Halaand as a statement of them not accepting this level of shittery as the best in the World.
Still, he is an elite goal scorer, and people forget that at 23, people were questioning a player like CR7 in big games. Halaand might respond in the future

Part of why he was such a force in the knock-outs, was his elite heading ability, but he was out wide more in his youth, so didn't get to showcase it that often.

Haaland is not very good at headers for his size, really, but if he can improve on that, he will become really dangerous in these type of games.

I agree that Haaland deserved to win the FIFA Best 2023, but tbf Messi deserved to win the FIFA Best 2021 and this evened out for Messi.

Haaland is still young and, as you said, he has time to respond in the future.

He's been absolute trash this season... He hasnt been clinical and hasn't been making the right runs or even getting the ball delivered. it's been very disappointing.

Pep ball doesn't suit him. Would have been better in a cross an inshala team last night.

That said, breaking parked buses is no easy feat. It doesn't usually happen between top teams. Barca had the same problem in the past and we had Zlatan as CF.

Don't think he is a bum, just not the team for him in these kind of games.

Both him and Zlatan are useless in the air despite being tall and strong.


Zlatan did improve his heading a little bit once he hit 30.
