Probably the postman thought it was a typo and sent the letter to Satan

Told you lot there is a good chance we keep Valverde for another season after this one. Nobody wanted to hear it and I was called a troll. The board truly adores him. If we are in the CL semi-finals and are sitting at the top of the league come April don't be surprised if a contract extension is announced.

Going deep into the CL and winning the league means you most likely keep your job as manager. If we win the league again like expected it would take a CL exit to Napoli or another 2nd leg meltdown for EV to get sacked. Barring that he will stay on until elections in 2021 at the very least.

Obviously.

But Barça winning the league at this moment is by no means expected.

If Ernesto Valverde leaves, Luis Enriguez is the biggest candidate to replace him.

He is the one making a choice if he wants to stay for another season, basically literally asking him if he wants another 27m when he can't even produce watchable football with a 1 bil squad, which means he is 100% gonna stay for a 4th season, which is actually absolutely insane.
I don't think I'm a bad person but for 27m I would ruin another year of Messi's prime too, his children for generations are gonna be set, good for him I guess... It's this board that has ruined this club, and the useless senior boomer socis that were too lazy to participate in vote of no confidence in 2017, this all could have been prevented, we could be like Liverpool, with a good manager, good purchaces, developing youth, etc, this is just sad. Genuinely hope we get fucking battered in CL and Madrid stops playing like bunch of inbreds and start winning Liga.

Well Messi himself went public to support Valverde so let his last years go to waste.

Barça board strategy

Hire a coach who speaks Spanish and has "Barca DNA".
Buy players we don't need for ridiculous prices
Repeat ad nauseam we are the greatest club in the world
Tout any domestic achievement as being equal to a Cl win
Never sack a manager no matter how shitty the football or big the choke.

Rinse and repeat for next manager....

I'll never get this argument, think for a second before you make these statements, can you imagine a timeline where Messi or any player says in a press conference "Yeah the manager isn't really working out", it's just never gonna happen, he isn't a sports director, plus he is getting paid 1m a week, I'm sure he'll do anything Barto will ask him to do.

All it needs is messi going to Barto and telling him its either me or this retard in the club, but messi likes him and want him, cause he can keep all his friends happy in the club.

Thats right, but it would set an utterly shit precedent. Dont put this shit on Messi.

Lol it doesnt have to be that black or white. He could easily have said something like ”i am not in a position to comment and decide anything about the coach, its up to the board”. Neither positive or negative. Then in private go to Barto and tell him to sack the shit out of Valverde, but no him and the seniors are obviously satisfied with playing shit static football, having problems even against the shittiest teams possible like Slavia or whatever it was and getting their asses torn apart after having 3 goal leads in the CL semis. They are ok with it as insane as it sounds, so let them have it.

But hey if i was Suarez, Busquets and Rakitic i would also be happy with Valverde because i get to play even if i do fuck all on the pitch. All 3 of them would have been told to fuck off if they were in another club but here, especially Suarez, they still get to play and the fat donkey is immune to get subbed out so yeah i get why they dont want him gone.

If you can't see how ”i am not in a position to comment and decide anything about the coach, its up to the board” is obviously negative then idk what to tell you.
