Argentina were awful and Croatia needed pens to beat Denmark, Russia and ET to beat an average England side.

Remove Modric from a starting lineup and these guys are on a level of a midtable team.

When there is greatness on the ball, it gives the next player time, and he then in turn can produce greatness on the ball. A great pass by Walker forward to Philipps, who then produced a great pass to Sterling who then produced a great finish. 1-0. Greatness by three players.

That was a terrible game, England will top the group now but need to step it up a few levels if they want to get past the second round. Haven't seen Croatia since the Final 3 years ago, it looks like the end of an era for them, not sure if they have any young players coming through either.
