I have argued for ages that people are too obssessed by the style of play and results of the b team.
It should be there as a vessel to improve individuals for first team even at expense of results.
Look at Halilovic this season. I think lasts season he was almost over coached and they tried to make him conform to the Barca style too much instead of letting him be the player he is.
Personally dont really care what league the B team is in or how they play as a team as long as individuals are progressing.

Because the B team suffers even more from the transfer ban than the first team.
One of the main reasons of last year's relegation(other than atrocious set-piece defending) was the lack of experience and consistency in the squad. Eusebio and Amor took the gamble on creating a team full of talanted youngsters and it backfired. This summer, the departures of more experienced players (such as Patric or Ie) had to be compensated by even younger players from Juvenil A.
To sum it up: the loss in experience and quality could not be adequately replaced this past transfer window. However, since the level in Segunda B is way lower, the individual talent should be enough to make up for the deficiencies and keep Barca B in the league.
Edit: The confusion about the coach and the late appointment of Gerard basically robbed Barca B of a pre-season. Which also explains the poor start in the first few games.

Patric has played 45 minutes so far. Lazio was down 0:3 at halftime against Chievo so he was subbed in after the break. Apart from that not a single minute.

Because he is playing with Villarreal B ,they are one of the stronger sides in our group in Segunda B
And it is Ie not Le btw ,as weird as it sounds

But has he had any involvement with the first team yet? I noticed they are a little light at CB with Musacchio still out, Mario playing there etc.

It doesn't appear that he is actually granted starting spot with B team either
And tbh he isn't good enough for Villarreal or at least not ready ,last year he was a disaster in our defense .Tarin look much better
