Pedri, Lewa and Felix in Palau Blaugrana watching El Clasico.

We're up by 11 mid-way through 3rd quarter, were already leading for 20 in 1st though.

Ugh, we got spanked in game 4 in Greece, will need to win next week in Palau Blaugrana to qualify for Final 4.

What else to expect when they have discount Xavi as a coach? Anyway, better going out against Olympiacos than being thrashed by Madrid in semis.

In other news Jasikevicius took over Fenerbahce in mid season and led them to Final Four. Let's see if he can finally do with them what he couldn't in three years here. Would be another proof that Barca is just a club of mental midgets.

Congrats for the title and thanks for beating Madrid.

I've only watched last 3-4 minutes and you destroyed them.

Lost 3-0 in semi final against Madrid. First time since 2016/17 season we haven't won any trophy and based on Navarro's comments it's clear Grimau is gone after one year.

Xavi Pascual, Jaka Lakovic, Sergio Scariolo and Alex Mumbru are candidates to replace Grimau.

Not the most exciting list but probably can't do much better in current situation.

also, we're reportedly close to sign former Madrid wonderkid Juan Nunez

Penarroya officially signed till 2026.

We have a deal with Mario Hezonja on a 4-year contract. Madrid still has an option to match our offer (reportedly 3m net/year) and keep him but it's unlikely.

Mario Hezonja has signed an agreement with Barcelona for four seasons. As MARCA has learned, the decision of the 29-year-old, 2.03 meter Croatian forward is to leave Real Madrid after not being able to reach a meeting point with the club, which has not been able to renew him and with which his contract is ending, to returning to what was already his home between 2012 and 2015 before leaving for the NBA. Thus, the Blaugranas deliver a great coup after a campaign in which they have been empty-handed.

Despite everything, Madrid still has one trick left to keep the player. Presumably, at the end of his contract, the whites will include Hezonja in the right of first refusal. If so, they could match the Barça offer to retain him. However, it seems unlikely that they could do so, since their renewal proposals have been much lower than what the culé team offers and keeping Walter Tavares on the team is already going to entail a large financial outlay.

According to MD also have a deal with Kevin Punter

A year ago Kevin Punter was Juan Carlos Navarro's big goal for Barça basketball, but a last-minute scare by the American shooting guard ended an operation in which there was already a verbal agreement. The Barcelona club has returned to the fray in recent weeks and this time it seems to be the good one. Punter, for whom Partizan is not closing the exit door, has committed to Barça and all that remains is for him to pass the medical examination to make his signing official.

Hours before, this Friday it had emerged that Barça has signed Mario Hezonja. It remains to be seen if the Barça club completes the two additions or if one of the two falls by the wayside.

We have reportedly discarded Hezonja and will sign Punter.

Hezonja was the core piece of Barça's new project, as demonstrated by the years of contract (4+1) and the amount (about 3 million net annually) of the offer that both parties signed. However, his surprising statements last Wednesday after Real Madrid won the Endesa League, in which the Croatian praised the white club and showed his desire to continue in it ("I would like to give Real Madrid and our fans many more titles in the next few years. I hope it happens"), provoked monumental anger in Josep Cubells, the director responsible for the section, who decided to throw away the agreement reached. An anonymous Barça spokesperson explained to the EFE agency that “no type of agreement was closed” and that “nothing was ever signed” with the player but Mundo Deportivo can assure that such an agreement did exist, specifically an offer signed by Hezonja. and by a Barça representative, with the club's official seal.

With Hezonja out of the picture, Barça needed another media signing to cover up the mess and restore hope to the fans. The club reacted quickly and sealed an agreement with Kevin Punter, an outside scorer whom it had already wanted to sign a year ago. Then the American had left Barça jilted after having reached an agreement to end up renewing for Partizan, which now leaves him free to allocate his high salary to other signings. At the Belgrade club it was around 2.3 million euros net, at Barça it will reach 2 million net.

But Hezonja was a 'three' (who can also play as a 'four') and Punter is a 'two', so Barça has had to adjust its 'renewal plan' for this summer. It seemed logical that the main bet was a forward, since it is the team's weakest position, especially with the departure of Nikola Kalinic now. But with the bulk of the money allocated to Punter, Barça must now look for a much lower profile 'three'. The other position that must be reinforced is center, since James Nnaji intends to make the leap to the NBA and Barça also wants to guard Jan Vesely's back with a center with a different profile than Willy Hernangómez. Except for a last-minute injection from the club, a big expense is not expected on those two pieces.

It also remains to be seen if Punter's arrival causes movements in the outside line, which is currently somewhat overloaded. With the American joining Nico Laprovittola and Darío Brizuela, Barça has three guards, while in the point guard position Rokas Jokubaitis will be out but Satoransky will remain, an agreement has been closed with Juan Núñez and it remains to be seen what decision Ricky Rubio makes about Her future. If the one from El Masnou does not continue, it would not be surprising if Lapro returned, permanently or punctually, to the position of 'one' that he already occupied for many years.
