We are not Madrid, we are not Chelsea, we are not Man City, we are not blah blah blah.
STOP compare us with them, if you want to change to a better things, you don't afraid to what people might say.
If we sack Tito, you afraid being mocked by other people that we are like Madrid, Chelsea, etc? I don't give a damn care about what other people talking about as long I know it's for good.
Things isn't THAT bad at the moment, but not so good either, you think lost from Madrid is fine as long you got tittle? Not for me, I'd prefer Madrid got damn tittle in 100 years in a row as long they can't win 100 years from us in a row, and many clues that show things isn't going to change much, thats what make me worry.
He he...Tit-tle....

Sometimes i wonder if ppl is just delusional or they are die hard Tito fan, to a point that they rather gamble with the club's one whole season with pathetic excuses like "come on, the guy is tired, he doesnt have enough time, he was away, blah blah blah."

Consider the hypothetical scenario that Tito will be cancer free and be able to concentrate solely on coaching Barca...

Does no one feel he deserves (/is good enough to have..) another year which isn't interupted by illness?
I doubt I will ever be convinced that waiting until we were down 4-0 in the 83rd minute to make a substitution was cancer related. I've seen what I've needed to see.

It is questionable if he can improve the teams motivation and form. His health was directly related to those things as he might not have been able to fire the team up due to his failing health. Ill give you that. Even then though, its a gamble. Just look at his recent track record for substitutions/lineups after his treatments and its more of the same, sub-par stuff.

I don't know if I'd really feel good about our chances going with Tito next year.

Hopefully. I wish him all the best with his illness and everything but he can't continue being coach without damaging us,

Are you discounting the start of the season though? At face value our evidence as fans is: - Record breaking start to the La Liga season, all else running smoothly. Tito becomes ill around the mid way point and results start to suffer, motivation and fitness appear to be concerns at the club, yet we still manage to win La Liga. I think that looking at what we truely know, It's remarkable that we won the league.

As for the games against Bayern, they were just superior to us and I think Tito must have felt that there was little he could do to change what happened - Particularly when it's happening in front of him and all he can do is switch a player or two.

It's his fault we were getting outclassed so heavily in the first place, as tactics were our biggest problem in that game. Not to mention the lineup sucked, using both Alexis and Pedro instead of Villa was a shit decision.

Anyways, it was clear things weren't working, we basically created no chances in the first half. Changes should have been made at half time. At least try something. Any top coach would have made changes at half time. Villa for one of Alexis or Pedro could have worked very well imo, if that change were made at half time instead of in the 82nd minute when we're fucking 4-0 down.

I think it's probably in the best interests of both Tito and FC Barcelona for him to stand down. It'd be the best outcome, because despite his tactical deficiencies and sheer stubbornness I'd hate to see him sacked. It just wouldn't be right.

Barcelona are working on other options in case Vilanova would not totally recover. Pellegrini among coaches that were sounded out. [marca]

It's just Marca, but... a guy can dream, right?

Only about the other options part. Of course I want Tito to recover. Just a disclaimer, before anyone jumps all over me.

Imo if his health allows it then he should get another shot next year but if he has another relapse then yes we should look for alternatives.

We lost the Supercup to a motivated Madrid side while we played flat football to start the 2nd leg and only scored because of a Messi fk.

If we didn't have the best player in the world to thunder through La Liga teams do you really think we would have broken any records with the type of football we played this season? I don't.

The arrogance of our coaches to suggest in the Bayern 2nd leg halftime that we did not need any substitutions because they felt that the fielded team could score was just over the top. So you don't think you're gonna win? Cool... but atleast try and never give up. He just sat there like an idiot and TOOK THE POUNDING. If we go down, we go down fighting Puyol status with new fresh substitutions and a new found energy from the ripping Tito gave the players at half. Not sitting by and doing nothing. That is inexcusable.

I don't want to see any more of this coaching staff.

Man, forget about his substitutions, lineups and motivational skills. These are rather minor issues. The biggest, more fundamental problem is the total tactical disarray which I'm observing on the pitch. Look at this:

Look how organized they are under del Bosque. They have a concept and you can clearly see it. Look at those quick one-touch lay-offs inbetween the lines. Those are some insanely sexy moves. Look also how compact they are. It looks like they always have 5 or 6 players very close to each other, condensing the pitch so they can immediately win the ball back while attacking in numbers. They are doing this with Villa, Pedro, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Pique and Valdes on the pitch. It's basically Barca without Messi. And they don't need Messi to create chances against a very strong team (Ribery, Benzema, Matuidi, Cabaye, Pogba, Evra, Varane, Koscielny, Lloris, Valbuena ...).

And then compare it with Barca this season where the biggest attacking threat comes from Messi's individual skills and that's it. Then you have Dani Alves doing whatever he wants on the right side, pumping in one mindless cross after another into the box, Messi trotting around most of the time, Pedro and Alexis being non-factors because they are far too wide and look disconnected from the rest of their teammates, shitty transitioning, leaving huge spaces open and getting counterattacked in every single big game etc. etc. etc. It's just sad.
