Franck Kessie

Song was a great interlude from what we come to expect from the Rossell/Bartomeu era. Chased Thiago Silva for 2 months then bought Song and called it a day.

Remembering those days, every day hopiping for Thiago Silva.

With him in prime we would have one more CL atleast.

The more i see/read about this guy the less excited i get. But well at least we already have good CMs and let's not pretend any DM in the world would make Xavi bench Busi so it won't make a big difference either way.

Forwards, RB and CB are more important because there it's more likely the new players will be starters.

I watched him a few weeks ago hoping to be blown away but he seemed overweight, sluggish and disinterested

Kessie is by far the transfer that Barca fans unanimously don't want before he even gets here. Probably shows how bad he really is.

Top players from Seria A are floopers outside the league.

This guy will be another Murillo, Boateng or braithwaite

For those who haven't watched him: He's like prime Moussa Sissoko(the Tottenham player) with less pace.

Amazing penalty taker.

Another notable weakness I have noticed from watching plenty of Kessie is that he tends to commit really braindead fouls especially in the big games and clutch moments. He has a habit of hiding a bit in the big games when the going gets tough. He seems to have a great personality y but when the pressure is on he's surprisingly weak and prone to errors.

Sometimes, he tries those lofted longish balls which he's awful at. Passing range isn't one of his strengths.

Kessie has to provide better depth than Nico who is most likely leaving, the bar for his success isn't that high.
He still has good attributes in terms of physique (strength & stamina) and being good in pressing opponents higher in the pitch. Can also score few goals (over 70 percentile in both non-penalty goals and xG for midfielders), carrying the ball and passing aren't his strongest suits at all.
He is the opposite of Barca DNA, which can be good thing at times or atrocious, let's hope for the former

He's pretty good at carrying the ball. Uses his strength to dribble well.
