I am a long standing member of the steering committee to facilitate the player’s exit but I also recognize the impact he had against RM & Benfica
There was purpose and a player driving forward rather than languishing in defense. Yes we had the ball more but I hadn’t seen that sort of impact from him in years
Not suggesting continuity but he may prove still useful in the business end of the season…from there if he isn’t sold, don’t register him ahead of WC
