Personal biography
Born in 18 December 1994, midfielder Gerard Gumbau joined Barça B for the 2014/15 season after rising through the ranks at Girona, where he had just completed 31 appearances in a season with the B team and was touted as one of their strongest prospects. He has signed for Barça B on a contract that binds him to club until 2017.

Gumbau is a skilful and attack-minded central midfielder, who has become noted as a free kick specialist. He does move into the attack at times, and in the 2013/14 season with Girona B he netted six goals. He is also not unknown to try the occasional long range shot on goal.

The guy is anything but skilful attacking minded ,he ended last season playing some games as a CB .not sure he was used in attack but may be I missed those games
