Gerard Piqué

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
He is never going to retire unless forced out and Xavi and Laporta do not seem to be up to task concerning that

Pique has gotten away with his leaked conversations with Rubiales and other shit and has proven to be nothing but a rat in the end.

So like DonAK said, Xavi and Laporta won't ever force him out.

Barcelona's goals conceded per match in La Liga this season:

With Piqu? - 0.8 goals per match.

Without Piqu? - 1.7 goals per match.

Our best player and not even close

Probably cause he is still our best cb and brings in millions to the club

People saying Araujo is better are clearly blinding themselves to the undeniable stats I posted

True. Araujo is overrated. Yes he's strong and fairly fast for his size and he is a potentially good leader, but his technique is atrocious, and his positioning is off most of the time.

A lot of the time he does something stupid on the ball, like having a horrible touch, or positions himself poorly, and he has to chase the opponent to fix the situation. And hilariously people credit him for that.

It would be better if he learned how to control the ball and how to position himself smartly and he wouldn't have to do so many sprints and tackles. He does so many of them also because he is deficient in other areas (all big ones like technique, reading the game and positioning).

Yeah nothing to do with having to cover for a RB that can't run a clueless CB partner and a gaping hole in the midfield position.
