Youd think he was banging your wifes the way some of you lot talk about him lol. What did he do? The only player to not actually be named properly either.

He is a quality player. Amazing finisher who regularly got above 20 goals in liga even when he shared minutes with benzema. Now he just made history with most goals in a serie a season ever. he missed chances in the finals for Argentina and people blame him for messi not winning a trophy, but the whole team was below par in those finals and lost on the day to better teams. Everyone puts it on higuain but what about the other attackers in those finals who didn't show up?

In fact messi himself was below his level in the finals, and is partly to blame for Argentina not winning them. He missed a penalty in the recent final but you won't find anyone calling him a choker and it's everyone else's fault as well as the illuminati, the sun, moon etc.

the fee seems crazy but when you take into account the current market, the fact he transferred from one title challenger to another, the fact Napoli know Juve have the Pogba money and the amazing season he just had, it is understandable

I read Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain's statements during his unveiling press conference at Juventus and I'd like to comment on the part when, after having said that Juventus is a great family and he is happy to wear their shirt, he claims the main reason why he chose to join that club was me. I thought long and hard whether these words deserved any reply, since everyone knows clearly what the truth is. Then, I decided that it was better to say something, just not to be forgotten in the future. Here is my answer.

1) If Mister Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain was annoyed by my presence, it took him many years to understand it, unless he is a liar or an excellent actor. I would rule the latter out, though, as I know something about actors.

2) We spent a long time together, even recently. For example an entire day in Rome at the Disciplinary Commission on April 15 in order to have the four-game ban reduced in the middle of the Scudetto race. I assure you that day Gonzalo was very calm and didn't show any intolerance towards me, as the many people around us that day could testify.

3) Why on earth his agent never ever showed any impatience the several times we met recently to discuss his contract renewal? Had they been so intolerant towards me they wouldn't have spent hours with me discussing money, a lot of money, with huge availability and understanding.

4) Isn't his agent embarrassed to say that the team where he played and helped him score 38 goals was not up to the challenge? Isn't he embarrassed to say that Gonzalo's team-mates were rubbish, when Napoli was the Italian team that had created the most goal chances, something pivotal to let a striker score many goals?

5) To try and explain that his move is my fault is a huge lack of respect towards all Neapolitans. If Higuain had read Napoli's history, he would know this city was the only one to get rid alone of the Nazis even before the arrival of the Americans who found the town freed when they entered it. You can betray these people if you are shameless but you can't take the p*** out of them.

Reading whats written in here, you would think that Juve aren't buying someone with 40 goals in 38 matches in the most defensive league in the world.

Nobody is blaming him for Messi retiring. We're blaming him for choking with Argentina 3 times in a row at a major international tournament.

I personally believe that even if Messi didn't retire Argentina would not win anything. You have to face the harsh reality that it's very unlikely that they are going to make the world cup final again in the near future.

The ship has long sailed for Argentina and Higuain played a massive role in that.

Before you Higuain fanboys, The Great Finisher, THE PROVEN GOAL SCORER, drag this "only the Messi fanboys who are butthurt are giving him shits" BS any longer, just to let you know that Argentine fans giving him even more shits for his choking 3 times in a row in 3 consecutive finals. So yeah, Chokein is treated this way because he's earned it.

Personally I am more than happy Gobbi threw that big chunk of money away for this garbage. And by the end of the season they will realize how much he has "improved" their team!

higuain fits juve like a glove though, a player who comes up small in finals playing for a club that comes up small in CL finals. :neymar:
