It wouldn't be the right move anyway, stuff was going fast downhill and his relationship with the players was getting much worse.
I think the board will give Flick another season regardless of what happens, due to his (until now) great performances against top teams, inspiring confidence for the CL, unless our LaLiga result is extremely poor i.e 3rd or 4th.

It the players don't listen to a coach then we have a coaching problem, don't you think? And I would say a bigger one than if a coach doesn't have enough tactical knowledge or adaptability (which is my biggest concern with Flick).

Nobody is talking about sacking him.
We are just pointing out obvious Flick's weaknesses that he should improve for his own and more importantly the club's good.
There is no middle ground with him. If his plan works then we are world beaters when it doesn't we are in a relegation form.
Can't win the league with that inconsistency. And that's my only expectation this season. Win La Liga (unless it would take an all time low record like 75 points to win it then he should go regardless as we would win it because other teams are even more shit rather than us being good) and get to CL QF and he should get another season. Mostly because there are really no better realistically available options on the market (no, Xavi is not coming back until Fatporta is here) than me having that much believe in him.
Finish 2nd or 3rd (again, unless it's with like 90 points which is unlikely at this point) then he should be gone unless we win CL. But my priority is and always will be La Liga. Barca never win CL the Madrid or Chelsea way, we first need to dominate domestically. And no, that is not happening this season despite a good start. You can't win 1 out of 6 games and say you dominated the league even if we'll somehow manage to win it in the end.
And yes, I want us to win the league as I always do. I dislike Flick and Robbie but like rest of the players (even Ferran when he is somewhat useful like lately).

One of the points thats going on noticed is what you brought up, if we win the league it will be with very low points at the rate things are going

The league was lost after the game against Sociedad. That was the point where the refs decided 'not on my watch'. Barca did not make enough of that, infact did not complain at all, so set themselves up for the level of refereeing they have received since.
Those in VAR basically spent 8 minutes creating false images to turn an onside goal, into an offside one. There has never been anything before like that and will be nothing since.
I suspect now there will turn their corruption to Athletico, since they have dared to challenge their beloved Madrid. Madrid may win, but they are a shit team and are NOT the best team in the league without their corrupt ref assistance.
