I couldn't give two flying fucks what he says in press conferences. His job is winning games and he's been miserable at it.

Hope he improves.

This is what they call recency bias

August, September, October and a good chunk of November he was far from miserable at it. It changed afterwards.

So if you judge his work as a manager so far based only off November/December performances, of which a part was actually fantastic even in some games we didnt win, then you clearly dont hope he improves because in that case you would objectively look at his work. Instead you probably want him to go as soon as possible in order for Xavi to be back with his atrocious football (which would be acceptable if he was winning something with it).

Mate, we had a historically shit run. So bad it probably lost us the League

In Barcelona you don't get a "oh well at least he was good in August, September and October"

6 weeks (nearly half of his relevant Barcelona career) has been utter trash.

The criticism is fully deserved and Flick should build on it. Again, the honeymoon is over.

So far we've been playing the most entertaining football since Lucho's MSN clicked in early 2015. Barca are not converting chances into goals.

REAL MADRID TV: “Only Real Madrid can face this, a whole system against them.”

“We have beaten Valencia, the CTA and this dirty League, against everything and everyone.”

“Today we have defeated Clos Gómez and Negreira.”

Finishing below 2nd can't be acceptable and we are even about to be overtaken by Bilbao.

I really like the football we've seen but there also needs to be a result in either LaLiga or the CL. (He needs to get to the semi finals of the CL at least). It could be that we get knocked out of the CL early and then finish 3rd or something which would be a big fail.

There is something to be said about management of the competitions as well and understanding of the format. We seem to have put a lot of effort into a group stage which may not give us much benefit. Whilst we will see, a lot of good teams ended up in the playoff section and we could just end up playing them anyway.

Hopefully the break has let the players mentally reset and forget the harsh games.
