Don't really know what he'll bring. His coaching career hasn't been very positive and he isn't very charismatic.

Welcome nevertheless.

if he can instill some killer instinct of his in the team, that would be job well done IMO

A lot of reports saying he will be a coach for the strikers and work with the team on finishing. IMO, not many out there who were more efficient finishers than him. Glad he is on board.

Maybe he can teach them how not to crumble in big moments.

Came on as SUB in 2006 CL Final and provided BOTH assists. ELITE mentality. :worthy:

Always fun with a fellow countryman in the club.
Resigned from his last club because of verbal abuse from the fans in social media.

Grade A professional and club legend.

Wouldnt quite have him as a Barca legend even if did make a big difference in final.

Always comes across as a bit dour and boring but his name alone is enough and he doesnt have to be that vocal leader in his role anyway. Far and away what Barca needs are staff the players respect and he will have that... at least to begin with.

Bump.

He was a great player for Celtic and very good at Barca too. Even though his goals broke my heart in the 90s and early 2000s he and (Brian) Laudrup were the two best players I have seen in Scottish football. Followed closely by Moravcik and Gascoigne.
