How many goals will Messi score in all competitions?

So we're just about halfway through the season and Messi is on 35 goals in all competitions. 26 in La Liga, 2 in the Spanish Super Cup, 2 in the Copa Del Rey, and 5 in the Champions League. Remember to take into account Messi's usual 2nd half of the season Beast mode.

As awesome as that would be; that is beyond even Messi. Messi scored 100 goals exactly in my Fifa 13 first season career mode that I just finished this morning. It was split up like this. 56 goals in La Liga, 27 goals in the Champions League, 14 goals in the Copa Del Rey, and 3 goals in the Spanish Super Cup.

I can see him getting 56 in La Liga this year but 27 in the Champions League would be absolutely ridiculous and nobody will ever do it unless more games are added.

How did you do it then? Who was in your group, Zagreb, Kiev, and Andre whatever?

I played pretty much every CL game and Messi had multiple 3 or 4 goal games. Realistically, I think Messi could score 16 maybe 17 in a CL campaign but anything about 20 just sounds so farfetched for real life.

There are 6 group games, 2 in the round of 16, 2 in the quarterfinals, 2 in the semis, and the final. That's 13 games. Maybe if he got off to a crazy start in the group stages, he could get 20 but this year; I don't think he gets more than last year(14) and might not even get that.

To be serious, I think he might top his last year's performance by 10-15 goals. Just hope this statistical marvel stays injury free.

He might get around 55 games this year, I expect him to break his record from last year since he destroys all records(even his own).
Realistically it will be 70+ if he goes on like this without anything bad happening.
I rather have us being invincibles and getting a treble though, would be beautiful.

Its perfectly realistic, he has 35 now, there are plenty of games left.
