Ibrahim Afellay

Looks more like a natural balance to me. Since Pep arrived we had an enormous luck with injuries (something which Frank Rijkaard couldn't say for himself), so I guess now nature is just doing its thing.

But look it at the bright side - Alexis and Iniesta got injured for two months, Afellay is probably out for six. How worse it could be if it was the opposite? With no dissrespect to Ibi, I wish him a speedy recovery of course..

We have a lot of options from the B team to use. Afellay is a great guy and for him it sucks what happened, but it would be really a big word to say that this injury is going affect us in any sensible way. GD, Cuenca, Kiko for the wings or Rafinha, Sergi Roberto in midfield - that's a really good cover. And I don't think that any of these guys would perform any worse than Afellay, tbh (now I expect to be ripped off from Ibi's fanboys)
