U make it sound like he scored a bundle not just 4 goals in couple of years
last minute winner vs. Aston Villa in crucial must-win match.
late winner vs. Sunderland in crucial must-win match.
late spark (made it 1-2) vs. Chelsea in crucial must-win match, a title-decider in fact. finished 1-2.
late spark (made it 1-2) vs. Aston Villa when side seemed dead & buried. finished 2-2.
all massively important goals. the first two were title winning goals. the third was in a match that, had United won, would have won them the title. he'd probably have scored more were it not for injury woes.
all goals were when he came off the bench, as most of his appearances have been too.
he's had a couple of big assists too. the kid hasn't scored loads, sure, but he's scored big goals. hence my optimism.
So SAF went and bought Pepe and fishing for a striker in the Summer cause ?
A- he trust Macheda
B - he know he won't make it
who's Pepe?
rumour is Macheda is arrogant and lazy, which is why he fell out of favour with Fergie. with Rooney moving to #10, though, there could well be a spot for Macheda in the team. especially as he's a different kind of forward to Hernandez and Berbatov. he may well have burned his bridges though, hence the rumours of United looking for a striker.
U know SAF.. once you are loaned out it means he won't feature again for United
considering he's loaned out Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley and is crazy high on both players, I reckon we'll see the end of that.
plus he loaned out Piqué to Zaragoza, and then only agreed to sell him coz he wanted to come home.
I'm all for a young Italian superstar , and i hoped for the kid but he disappointed me ..
we'll see.
I remain hopeful.
Although I wouldn't blame him for Veron, the biggest world deciever in the world
Then again I hated Veron a lot.
Veron was/is glorious, just monumentally unsuited for the PL.
he did very well to identify Forlan tbh. he just couldn't get him a run in the side. and you can't argue with him either coz the guy keeping Diego out was Ruud Van Gol who just never stopped scoring. on the rare occasions when Forlan got consecutive games, he started to perform, including his famous brace at Anfield.
Rossi was too small at the time he was in England, he needed to bulk up to be able to compete. but he also needed games and wasn't gonna get that at United.
