Yes we do he plays for Barça B every week and the other guy sits in the stands every day. While Rakitic stinks up the joint.
Sorry mate but Alena and Puig are nowhere near Barca starting 11 material, at least not at the moment. This reminds me of people claiming that Deulofeu is the next big thing, or Miranda (after 18/19 preseason) or Munir. Even Alex Grimaldo who was apparently next Jordi Alba still has ZERO appearance for Spain NT. If Alena and Puig were pure class they would have gotten their minutes by now. Even Carles Perez is showing much more than those two and that says a lot. Alena will probably end up as a squad player for some mid table team and with Puig even that is questionable. I honestly hope that I am wrong but I am 90% sure non of the two will succeed here.
The most hilarious comments are from people who are claiming that loans are bad because none of our young players succeeded out of this club. Well maybe that's because we always send on loan players in whom we actually don't believe at all. Loaning players is not the problem but quality of those players is. As you can see Rafinha was more than OK for Celta and even Inter and he was only a squad player here so what do you expect from players who even can't play for FC Schalke or teams from that tier. On the other side just look at Dani Olmo and how he improved in a club who plays totally different football than Barca. Not everything that comes from La Masia is good and even Valverde wouldn't deliberately play worse midfielders just because he hates Alena or Puig. Just accept that they are not good enough and move on.
As I said before if Alena and Puig can't bench current versions of Busi, Raki and Vidal (who are being regularly outplayed by any half decent midfield) than I have nothing more to say about those two.
