Like it or not, he was the league's MVP and top performing GK that season in all top 5 leagues.

But yeah, keep telling yourself Xavi is a good manager.

It's irrelevant if the keeper had a great season. What you said could be said for Madrid in CL that it was all Courtois heroics. Courtois doesn't do everything, he's just a player in a collective.

Same here. Stegen was good that season, so was almost the entire team. It's a fact that is foolish to deny. Not to mention it's disrespectful to the other players that contributed a lot also. But you think everyone is a bum.

No. Some of those are free agents like I explained to you. Raphinha is not paid a wage above his value. Ansu, yes. Kounde not so much.

Ferran yes, a failed transfer so far on all fronts.

Ferran too, I forgot...

Raphina only this season can be said that he is getting paid close to his value
The last 2: HELL NO, seriously overpaid

Free agent makes no difference mate.
You are adopting the perspective of the filthy player and filthy agent that demand more (and bonuses) just because they are free.

Club should have a hard stance on those matters. NEVER EVER pay above the market.
It is already a privilege to play for FC Barcelona
and to live in the city of Barcelona

It is relevant as he was the team's and league's best player that season. Courtois wasn't named as Madrid's or La Liga's best player of the season.

So yeah, his contribution was decisive in getting us that Liga.

And yes, I think most of the current footballers are overpaid bums.

Translation : "I must shit on every other footballer post Messi, in order for Messi's light to SHINE as bright as possible. I must reserve special hatred towards FC Barcelona and their players, as Messi played there, and any success after he left, may take away some of the SHINE of Messi's legacy.

Now, excuse me for 2 minutes, as I myself am going to SHINE something of mine, whilst thinking about the bumcheeks of Messi.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh that SHINE !

Best regards, MALvolio ".

He was carried by the other teams being horrible and all the defenders performing well. Terrorist has never put on a performance when it matters.

I like Laporta. He has heart and loves Barca. Every president had and will have difficult desicions to take. You simply cant do without them when leading such a big institution like Barca. You need optimism and braveness and the will to go forward despite all problems that you will face. Laporta in my opinion is doing exactly that. Even if sometimes his way seems strange. But his dedication to make Barca big again...I like it

If he wants to make Barca big he needs to ship Lewy to Saudi sooner than later.
And finally make some good transfers.

Ter Staren also needs to be gone.

Laporta first two terms - Dani Alves, Yaya Toure, Keita, Deco, Ronaldinho, Etoo, Villa, Pique

Laporta current term - Eric Garcia, Ferran, semi-retired Lewandowski, Raphinha, Kounde, Olmo

Spot the difference.

Great take from a Barca account on Twitter. Even though Laporta has made some mistakes so far, if he has got us back to 1:1 (BIG if, let's see what happens with Olmo), he deserves the chance to show what he can do without limitations now the dirty work is done. Then after that if he does a bad job his position should be in question.

"Laporta managed the return to 1:1 very badly but now that it is done it is a new stage in his presidency and he deserves to be able to work without his hands tied. We start from zero. It would be unfair if he would be replaced by an opportunist now that the dirty work is done".
