This is Barto Part 2 ... the huge debt is still there and has not been paid down ... all the money that comes with "levers" has gone to Lewi Raphina Kounde all 50 million plus and add in their Salaries people forget to do that each player has a big salary now that has to be paid (even free transfers like Christenson and Kessie earn a lot in salary... they want to add old average players like Azpi Alonso... it's no different than Barto ... at Lewi's age you suddenly lose it... could be this year could be next year ... plus his style doesn't exactly fit... levers are not infiinite they are selling rights like crazy... this will end like it ended with Barto ...
You are only flaunting your ignorance. Laporta inherited a calamitous situation financially from Barto, how can he possibly be Barto 2.0 when he is not increasing the debt? Good grief, some of you are infantile in your assessments
He has indeed restructured all the short term debt that threatened to sink the club with immediate effect, that was the first thing he did - again, a mess he inherited. He began the arduous process of ridding the club of fat contracts/wages that was handcuffing the club from improving the club due to Liga FFP. Levers agreed upon by GA allowed the club to sell future rights for money up front - this is purchase of future receivables, not a loan. So improved the immediate looming debt terms, refinanced the long term debt at better terms and sold future TV rights that bettered the terms of the CVC deal Barto & Liga were forcing on all the clubs
Unlike Barto, this is no Joan's first rodeo - he knows about getting into the black financially and maintaining a cohesive salary structure that he is enforcing without exception at the club rather than the wreckless wages Barto was dishing out
