20 goals +30 assists for us this season. :worthy: Now way we would sell him.

If it were up to me, I would buy Cavani and put out the following team:

--------------------- Cavani ---------------------------

---Hazard----------- Mata ------------De Bruyne-------

--------------------Oscar------------------------------
------------Ramires/DM--------------------------------

------Cole ------ Luiz/Terry- ---- Ivanovic -------Azp-

-------------------Cech/Courtois ------------------

I think De Bruyne is more than ready and will exceed people's expectations!
I agree with De Bruyne being in there, he's always bossin' for Belgium and was fantastic in Germany this past season, I actually don't want us to sell him. De Bruyne next to Ramires/DM and Oscar out on the right where he normally is would be better. De Bruyne plays very, very well as a CM and would playing there more than Oscar IMO. I'd also rather give Lukaku a chance as opposed to signing a big name striker.

I don't think Oscar would be better at right wing. Sure he played there all season, but that's not his natural position. He's far more effective in a more central position. I think he would excel as a playmaker/distributor from midfield. Plus he already puts in more defensive duty than Hazard and Mata combined. I agree that De Bruyne would make a very good CM, but he's so versatile that he happens to just as good (if not better) at right wing. Whenever I've seen Oscar play in/for Brazil he bosses games in a way he never did for us as he would never be able to do that from right wing.
He means Ramires or some other DM.

Yeah it's a hard one, personally haven't seen much of De Bruyne on the right so can't be too sure. Mourinho will figure it out. :D

Just read that Real Madrid may be interested in Mata after giving up on Bale.

Yeah, he might even change the formation for all we know!

I say we demand whatever Tottenham demanded for Bale. ;)

Apparently sources at both clubs have said United want Mata. Whether or not it's for a deal including Rooney, who knows. F that, I'd NEVER give up Mata for Rooney, even if they gave us Rooney and paid money as well. NO DEAL THANKS!

No chance! The straight swap would be a joke, if Chelsea did want to let him go which has no chance of happening, they would want Rooney + at least £20 million for the player!

Is it United trying hard to get Mata or Chelsea trying hard to get Rooney? United would probably even go cheeky and demand Chelsea to include some money even, along with Mata if they really wanted to sign Rooney!!

I know Mata is far more valuable than Rooney, both as a youngster and as a talented player but the market value of a player doesn't just depend on his talent!!

Do you think Mou would accept? I wouldn't be surprised if he's considering it.

Do United really want Mata, we barely played Kagawa in AM last season and he was just as good as Mata when at BVB IMO, and out wide Mata isn't exactly a United type of winger, like Nani, Valencia or Young, someone like Navas would've been good for United. Under Moyes United's tactics haven't changed much and it seems similar to Fergie's, we just need to find a deep lying playmaker. Not many players can replace Rooney as a SS, we would need someone like Tevez, Aguero and Jovetic but they're all not possible maybe Lavezzi or Benzema considering they score many goals and gain a lot of assists.

Lavezzi doesn't score many goals, that is a fact. As for assists he never had that insane number, in matter of fact he only provided 8 assists last season. He's having a really bad period of form.
