No it wouldnt Chelsea would still own him. They arent selling him. If Willian flops they can bring him back (hypothetically since Mata would be super pissed)

I don't see why they would offload their player of the season though? in his prime? for a 25 year old that's not going to improve, and is far from mata's level, only being more athletic as a plus.

Could do better overal maybe, but judging from his performances on the wing and what exactly our system needs from it's wingers he wouldn't work. He's an attacking midfielder that performs only when given the freedom and the space to, not a player who will create THAT big of danger or score from the wing.
