Just saw Tuchel analysis and he is saying the same thing. MU didn't even try or want to win it/qualify. We just forced the qualification down their throat.

No.
I don't believe that anymore. They said the same thing after Barcelona return leg.

This one is for me a true humiliation, at home, against MU reserves. You can't go lower than that (incoming PSG proving me wrong in the future) !

PSG forums are on turmoil and we want to sell all those bottlers.

I understand it is painful but I must say, all teams could bottle, including us (against Roma last year), no matter how experienced you are but the chances of committing the kind of errors today will be less as you become more experienced.

I only watched the first half of today's game (the penalty I saw GIFs on a forum) and I was really impressed, actually, the errors aside. For the most part of the first half ManU couldn't even touch the football and you had 80% possession and was very compact. I was thinking about what you said about how PSG was lacking midfielders and I was like, wow, what was he talking about, they completely controlled the midfield (granted it was against the ManU reserves). I thought everyone except Dani Alves did well in the first half. Your performance at the Old Trafford spoke volumes too.

You will learn from this and become better and more experienced over time. I think you guys are on the right track.

Well I now would very very shocked if Kylian does not win the Golden Boot--they/the team have very little else to play for.

I think whatever Barca does in the CL Messi is in strong pole position for the BdO. He is a bit owed from the last few years and particularly if the Shoe goes to France the voters will know they have to make it right.

Hard to see any competitors for BdO now unless Juv can somehow score 3 vs Atleti (very hard) and not concede to them (not so hard).

Well, then explain to me why PSG did play well against a complete United side in the first leg but bottled against United reserves ?

The L1 level team is very much the one we faced today.

I think it has to do with being resilient, responding to adversity. It is one thing when you are rolling, with forwards like PSG has they can blitz you Man U leg 1, Barca leg 1). But sometimes you need to grind it out and punch back against a good opponent who landed blows on you. This I think is what Ligue 1 doesn't prepare you for, you ideally want some stress tests but not so much your are fatigued, really no high stake, ongoing, stress tests for PSG in Ligue 1. Nearly the same for Juv with their league cushion but they do face a least a level better talents week in and week out. If we think on Bayern, I think their CLs runs were best when they were pushed (stressed) by Dortmund, some other ones they kind of bottled it too.

With all said and done, I would still offer 150m + Coutinho for this guy.

Someone need to get in his head and make him throw a tantrum and leave this summer. We signed all these French players, time to start working.

PSG didn't buckle when Verratti wanted to leave, but Mbappé is France's big hope, so if he want to leave for an upgrade the French media are gonna back him 100% and create a massive shitstorm if PSG pull the same stunt with him.

Well, need to make that happen. Whichever PR guy, agent or whoever we know in France; we need to trigger them now... Perfect opportunity for that

I recall there was some discussions a while back comparing this guy to R9.

Let's be serious, dawg, would anyone expect a 19/20 year old R9 to have a highlight reel this poor in any match, even yet for the entire year's worth of football matches that he played age?

Hopefully people start to realize that R9's footballing IQ and technique were in a different galaxy altogether compared to this hype machine.

Should be evident for even the biggest idiot. After all I was arguing with those geniuses about it earlier. They know who they are. Notorious trolls. Mbappé can't clean the boots of R9 yet let alone pre-injury R9. No comparison. At all. People who compare them (level wise not talking stylistically) have simply not watched pre-injury R9 other than on Youtube where he looks like twice the player as well. For all it is worth.

Crazy people out there dawg, I tell you.

Without the insane pace and acceleration he has, this guy would be bang average compared to other elite talents. Come at me peasants!

Isn't it amazing how a 20 year old having one bad game is enough for people to lose their mind over it? For other players thats totally normal, for Mbappe it's a sensation.

The kid is amazing, and discussions about being better/worse than this or that player at 20 is pretty pointless.

We are taking the piss if it was not painfully clear already, lol. He had a shitter of a game. Failed to show much in yet another knockout game in the CL. 2 years in a row now.

For the supposed reincarnation of Pelé and Messi that is very bad. Anyway that is to be expected as playing against even such a pathetic Man Utd team (on paper) is one thing and playing against farmers like Caen, Strasbourg, Angers, Dijon, Guingamp and other ridiculously bad teams is another thing.

Even with the poor display last night, I would still throw everything but the kitchen sink at him. Would kill for Mbappe-Messi-Dembele forward line with FDJ-Busi-Arthur behind, De Ligt and Recovered Umiti in defence. brb going for a quick wank.

That is evident. However not because he is Pelé or Messi reincarnated but because he is the most talented number 9 out there in a period in football where the competition is very bad. Since R9 was mentioned, the competition that he faced back then was much greater. Just a testament to how few truly talented number 9's that are out there.

The barca-bias here is so massive. He doesnt need have a bigger talent than R9 to be a better player than them. Mbappe stats in Chl: 25 matches, 14 goals, 8 assists. Barely 20 y.o. Has one bad match, with all the offensive burden on him, and my fellow barca fans are creepieng out their holes to bash him. It really doesnt prove anything.

Of course he's not Pele, Messi or Ronaldo but they are GOAT level players. Tbh, if he reaches peak Thierry Henry levels I think he can be satisfied and I think that's his potential. With a little bit more scoring and less playmaking probably. He would really fit our needs to a tee though.

The only chance of anyone getting him is on a free. It would be hard to get PSG to agree to any deal as they would be unwilling to sell and they don't need money anyway. When his current contract expires i think he could leave for either Spain or England. If he renews then it would be tough to get Nasser to agree to a deal.

I think he'll still be at psg next season but if they bottle another CL tie then you'd think a player of his caliber will start to question what's the matter with the club.

But yeah, unless he kicks up the tantrum of all tantrums then he'll be at psg until his current contract expires, at least. That is if he doesn't sign a contract extension, then he's there forever lol.

In the words of PSG fans themselves:

"Mbappe misses 8 easy chances against Nimes but manages to score 2 goals and bang we've retained the league double"

Damn.

Strong words from PSG supporters who live in France and attend weekly games.

I have no doubt that if PSG had a player as clutch as Dembele, that they wouldn't have gone out of the CL yesterday. Would have made a world of difference, dawg.
