What now, Griezmann a better player than Cruyff because he won a world cup?

Pretty rough for him when winning world cup won't make him a better or greater player than CRonaldo, let alone Messi.

Yep. In 2016 Eder was the best striker in Europe, and by a margin. Not only did he win the European Cup but he scored the winner from 30 yards.

Griezmann flopped hard in his own country meaning he absolutely sucks.

Why did Feance go on and win World Cup 2018 you ask?

Simple, Portugal left out Eder.

At any rate lets try to bring him to La Liga so he can stamp his mark. Whether it's for Barca or Madrid.

he can stamp his foot on the farmlands in Paris. We don't owe him anything. He had the chance to sign for Real but turned them down to earn more at QSG.

All this after seeing how it turned out with Verratti.

Mbappe won the biggest title - the World Cup - as a teenager while Messi and Cristiano never managed the same in their whole career and definitely won't ever. And he was a major part of that win.

Last time i checked football was a team sport, when did they change it to 1v1? Crazy.

Messi at 21 had a world class performance (1 goal) against this United Team with SAF as the manager.

Meanwhile, Mbappe goes crashing home v United Reserves.
Not defending Mbappé here, bit Messi had a proper team (talented individuals with strong sense of passion and team spirit, I mean) around him, Mbappé doesn't. That said, he still choked on Wednesday, that's for sure

C'mon, PSG has plenty of good players. Saying they don't have quality is bullshit and everyone knows that. Cavani, Neymar, Verratti are world class players, then good players like DiMaria, Dani Alves is still good etc. They have a good team, but bad mentality.

I'm afraid you are missing my point...PSG have plenty of skilled and expensive players .. all of which have 0 leadership or team spirit....Just compare Thiago Silva vs Puyol, Verratti vs Xavi , Draxler vs Iniesta, Marquinhos vs Busquets etc and you will see that I agree....My point was never the skill, but mentality as you said

To compare this guy with R9, Pele or Messi is such a huge disrespect to those legends... I saw R9 and Messi play on a weekly basis, they are absolute geniuses of this sport, one of a kind, we'll probably never see something similar in our lifetime. Nobody controls the ball like these guys, technically they are the absolute best in their respective positions. R9 was also a physical beast, and Messi too actually given his inferior physique.

Regarding Mbappe, Xavi said it best: the kid relies much more on his physical attributes, he's good technically but nothing special really. His performance against MU was a total joke technique and skills wise. Here in France he's overrated as fuck right now. Constantly compared to GOATs of this sport. And I used to love the kid. But the press and media do him no favor with such comparisons because now it looks like he embraced the exaggerated hype.

Mbappe was a lovely and humble kid back in his Monaco days. Since he's at PSG, he's clearly becoming arrogant. Winning the WC accelerated the process. Just look at his behaviour on the pitch these days, especially vs MU. He thinks he's the boss, gives orders to his senior teammates, all this while he's having a horrible performance. Reminds of worst CR7 version honestly.

The kid is still talented, the kid is still the most promising player of his generation, but he'll never be half a Messi or half a R9. People need to realize this and stop BS comparisons, especially french media. They have to do it for Mbappe's good first, such hype is toxic for a 20yo kid.

Mbappe is a Thierry Henry level talent, which is a great praise since Henry was one of the best in his era.

Exactly what I wrote about him 1 month ago or so minus the arrogance part as I am not really familiar with his demeanor on average as I don't watch Ligue 1 much. As for the hype in France, I am not the least surprised post the World Cup win. It definitely cannot be a good thing when you are not a Messi, R9 etc. level talent. Good to see a French poster reaffirming it.

Anyway Mbappé needs to move to a better league soon to develop his game and to take that extra step. If he stays for too long at PSG he will simply stagnate/not fulfill his full potential like the likes of Verratti and Marquinhos.

Still first . Neymar is second by the way. Both most valuable players in the world play at PSG.

You want a medal for having the two most valuable players in your squad according to Transfermarkt or what is it?

How has it been going in the CL since you bought those two players for record fees? You exited the CL in the round of 16. Worse than in previous years excluding our wonderful 6-1 spanking in the round of 16 during the 2016-17 season. Talk about pathetic.

I know  literally the last thing anyone should be boasting about right now. I'd be more embarrassed that there's nearly 400m in two players that can't get past the quarter finals.

Id say PSG fans need validation on here after their historic humiliation about as much as Neymar needs a new metatarsal, dawg.

Yes, talk about having the right priorities. I guess you have to cling onto something in moments like that.

Mbappé's contract runs out in 2022. Will stay for sure for the next season. Likely until 2021. By next summer (2020) we should be trying to get into contact with his entourage and build a relationship. Agent Dembélé and our natural allure should do the rest as well as us continuing to perform and win important trophies. By 2021 (should he still be in QSG and not have signed a contract renewal) we can make an official bid. If PSG does not want to sell him, we get him for free the next season (2022).:valverde: By then Messi might have retired or on his final legs.

Mbappé would be incredibly stupid to extend his contract without adding some escape-clause at the latest in 2022. Having stayed for 5+ years in QSG is way too much time and 6+ years in the Farmer's League.

Provided that he continues to impress and adds more to his game that is and that another more talented number 9 and more talented youngsters won't emerge which is quite likely to occur.

You know, I don't mind Mbappe being that hyped as it allows Dembele to develop in peace without that expectation.
