Every time I touched FIFA in the past 3 years I've felt let down TBH, much less so than I did with PES, even if Konami UI is just terrible to look at, unless you got used to its angularity after days of suffering.
FUT has somehow made people find fun in arguing over the accuracy of the 6 main stats on your player card. Not really sure where kids today get their pleasure from when they're on it. The closest weird thing I didn't expect EA to do was that RPG Alex Hunter thing a few years back. Goddamn that was desperate lol.
And Football Manager is dying as well.
But the Mbappe cover isn't actually all that terrible. Decent idea, poorly executed.

I agree. I think FIFA been a bit underwhelming every time it comes out. It is a nice game though if you just want to play for an hour or so. Sadly I can't play as much as I did before so it works well for me. I just play the online season.

The problem is it's coming out every year. There's no purpose of improving the game if you need to come up with new stuff every year. I think it's really bad in general to publish once a year.. oh well. Money money money.. Didi. Must be funny.

Yeah I usually play for first 2/3 months then give up. Usually play ultimate team but for free and trying to keep up with the paying players is ridiculous. It’s so pay to win it’s unbelievable.

i haven't bought a fifa since 13. they destroyed the game when they started releasing "special" cards every hour on Ultimatee Team. it's a pay-2-win game now and as u said there seems to be very little changes from game to game.
unfortunately kids wwho think Mbappe is the GOAT will continue to be ripped off by buying in-game packs, while EA will continue to get away with it until the EU or some organization creates laws to ban/age-restrict this clearly dodgy method of gambling
