Who cares what their favorite team is. Lots of players claim their favorite team is this or that team and they have no problem joining a rival team if it means a big step up in their career. Mbappe can play as left forward and he would also be a long term replacement for Suarez, who lets face it, is very unlikely to be world class years down the road. He'll turn 31 in January. Players like Forlan, Eto'o, Van Persie and others all declined sharply at that age and moved on to lower levels of football.
