can't see Barca being able to afford Mbappe even on a free transfer.

Barca is selling blood and need to prostitute to feed the dead weights like Cardio man and Busquet.

Negotiate openly, but reject every single offer that is thrown their way until the window closes.

The team Barca had in 2014-2015 is superior to every team on the planet today. Also, i don t think current Mbappe compares to Suarez of that era. Suarez was incredible at his peak, highly technical, great finisher, great dribbler and incredibly tenacious. Mbappe has speed over him, but that s it. In every other way, Suarez was the superior player.

Neymar was using Barca as decoy to get his fat contract with PSG.

Not the same as the current MBappe situation.

I got the 2019 and 2021 episodes mixed up.

back in 2019, Neymar still had 3 years left on the PSG contract.

does not make sense for PSG to play the same game with Mbappe as they lose him for free in 1 year.

Maybe not. But one of the positives is that both Messi and Neymar can be in his ear about how Barca would be a superior destination to Madrid. But we shall see. He's dead set on madrid

They are going to do the same thing they did with Neymar in 2019 and reject every offer Real Madrid makes for Mbappe and try to get him to sign a new long-term contract over the course of this season.

PSG aren't selling him just because they want one more season out of him, they actually believe they can chance his mind and entice him to sign a new contract.

This. People think PSG will let him go for free next season. If the Neymar Mbappe Messi line-up looks appealing they will make sure to convince him to stay. They're probably going to double his salary.

Mbappe isn't a fool to sign up a new contract now. Its an ideal Scenario for him next year. Joining his dream club + Receiving a fat signing bonus.

by this time next year many things could change. real was aware of that and tried to get him now.
